La Bordelle

For some utterly inexplicable reason, I wrote this song to the tune of "Land of Hope and Glory", and if you try really hard, you can make it work. But the song is in French, so why would you set it to an English nationalist anthem? I tried re-setting it to the tune of the "Marseillaise", but the only thing that works with that tune is a guillotine, and so I abandoned the idea. I have presented the lyric in French, and leave you to work out your own translation; it may be difficult, because the plays-on-words are very specifically French, and a direct English translation would probably be obscene without also being either clever or funny.

Le monde est une bordelle
Partout il y a des cons
Et toutes les demoiselles
Elles t'invitent dedans

Quand elles t'invitent dedans

(Vive la republique!)
